Cool God Moments (pt. 1)
So about a week ago, I was on my way out of the gym when I felt God tell me that the lady behind the front desk had pain in her neck and back. So after I literally stopped and thought about it for a second, I turned around, introduced myself, and asked if she had any pain in her neck/back. She said she had pain in her neck/left shoulder. So I asked if I could pray for her and she agreed. After I prayed, I asked her how it felt and she said she couldn’t really tell if it felt better. She asked me if I knew what she did for a living. I said no. I had never met or talked to her before. She said she is the owner of the gym and a physical therapist and had been begging other physical therapists to help ease the pain all week. She went on to tell me how she had gone to what sounded like a healing service to me, at a local church with some friends. She had experienced healing there, but the pain had come back apparently. She then asked me how she could pray for me. So I told her a little about why I’m in Georgia doing CGA and how I’m fundraising to be here. She then gives me her card and asks me to send her more information regarding CGA and fundraising so she could pass it along to people in her community! Thank You Jesus!! At the Lord’s prompting, I ask to pray for her one more time before I leave. To which she replies, “I’m already doing better. I’m smiling now.” I went ahead and prayed over her one more time, then left. The next day I come in and see her and she says all the pain is gone. Praise the Lord! I sent her an email with a fundraising letter. She replies asking if she can share it on social media as well as a picture of the gym computer screen showing me that she had extended my membership an additional 3 months for free!! God is soo good!!!
