Now What?

Hello from Georgia! I’ve moved to Georgia for the forseeable future. I’ll be working with Adventures in Missions and interning at a local ministry called Three Dimensional Life. At Adventures, I’ll be working to help build a young men’s ministry currently called Initiate. The heart behind this ministry is to take young men through a 3-6 day camping/hiking initiation trip. During these trips, we will be educating them on who and what they are as men, inherent sin patterns we struggle with as men, and empowering them to walk a powerful, Spirit-led life through different lessons and activities.

So many young men don’t understand how God’s wired them as men and how they are a reflection of God’s characteristics. They lack solid older men who can guide them into the journey of manhood and challenge them to rise up out of a generation of passive, boyish men.

At the same time, I am currently interning at Three Dimensional Life, a Christ-centered drug rehab program for teenage boys. They spend ten months living on campus going through different phases of inner healing and restoration. I’m living on campus with the boys being a part of their lives and their journey of reconciliation with the Father.

They’re a handful. God’s going to use my time at 3D to pour out what He’s done in my life into their lives as well as help me to start walking more confidently in the spiritual authority He’s given me as His son. Once I’m officially on staff at Adventures in Missions, I will be fundraising a portion of my salary.
