The Moment You…

…realize God’s been speaking to you alot more than you realized He was.

So I’ve been struggling for the last several months with wanting to hear from the Lord, specifically in receiving words of knowledge and encouragement for people. However, I was usually too afraid of being wrong to go up to a stranger and find out if what I was thinking I was hearing was God or my own imagination. Tuesday last week during Worship Track, we spent a couple hours praying and asking God to give us words of encouragement and prophetic words for each other. That’s when I began to realize how much He speaks and that He has given me ears to hear.

Then this past Monday during morning worship, God gave me words of knowledge for two people. The first one came right at the beginning of the first song and I was kinda nervous about going up to this person, but I went. And what I was hearing God say, was exactly what she was dealing with. That happened again later in the worship time with another person. Then again at the end of the day, I was waiting for my ride to be ready to leave when a lady who was cleaning up around the office walked by and felt like God was telling me “her mom is struggling financially and she’s worried about her.” That’s a fairly specific word Lord. But after a few minutes, I got up and talked to her. Sure enough, her mom has been struggling financially and she’s been stressed about that and some other stuff. So I had the opportunity to pray peace and provision over her and her family along with a word of encouragement.

God is good and loves to give good gifts to His children (Matthew 7:7-12). He wants a relationship with you above all else…..I don’t think you heard me. He WANTS, like really wants a relationship with you. Not because He’s needy or co-dependent, but simply because He loves you soo much He can’t contain it. So if you ask Him to speak to you, you better get ready to hear from God!

I still need an additional $525 by the end of February to continue CGA. I am currently at $2,474 out of $7,450 total, but I need at least $3,000 in my account by the end of February. After this month, I’ll still need an additional $1,000 by the end of each month for my duration of CGA which will be through August in order to hit the $7450 total.
