“As it is written: We are killed all day long. We are accounted

as sheep for the slaughter. Yet in all these things, we are more

than conquerors through Him who loved us.”

Romans 8:36-37

“You are not a survivor. You are an overcomer.”

The Lord gave me this nugget about a week ago. For so long I’ve been living in a passive, victim mentality. Dealing with life as it comes at me. Always anticipating my next failure. Trying to survive and wait out the spiritual/emotional storms. Trying to ignore the lies that the enemy wants to constantly bombard me with. Even pride myself on the emotional tiredness that I thought I could still function with. That even though I was tired, I’d still keep getting back up…

WRONG ATTITUDE!

Jesus didn’t take a beating and die so I could take a beating too. He took the beating so I didn’t have to get beat up! I’m not saying life is gonna be easy. I’m saying we gotta get out of this victim mindset that “this” is just the way it is and I gotta deal with it. That I just gotta find a way to stop doing “it”. That I just gotta suck it up cause “it is what it is.”

NO! I’m done letting the enemy and other worldly influences tell me who I am and what I can and can’t do! I’m done putting up with the lies and the distractions. Jesus already won the victory for me to live free. When the lies and distractions try to creep in, we can go back to the Father and Holy Spirit will remind us of the truth that I’m no longer a victim to my sin, my past, the world, or it’s lies. I’m victorious in Christ! I’m loved! I’m accepted! I’m delighted in! I’m a son! So when the lies and distractions try to creep in, we can say

GET OUT OF MY HOUSE!
