So this is my last CGA blog.
God has done so much in me during my time here. Opening my eyes to see His great love and grace. Helping me realize how much I hear His voice. Asking me to give up false comforts and identities. Inviting me into brokenness so He can show me His grace, strength, and mercy. Helping me believe that He is enough so I don’t need to strive for His acceptance. Helping me come to grips with my inherent human weaknesses and being ok with not being “there” yet. Breaking old lies I was living under the influence of and restoring more of my identity as my Father’s son.
But my time in Gainesville isn’t done. I’ll be sticking around for an undetermined amount of time to intern part-time with Three Dimensional Life, a Christ-centered drug rehab program for teenage guys, where I’ve been interning in the afternoons for the last 6 months in CGA. I’ll also be working part-time with some men from Adventures in Missions to develop a men’s ministry curriculum and program. It’ll focus on educating young men in who and what they are as men created in the image of God, empowering them to walk in greater freedom and authority as sons, and greater intimacy with their Father. In October, we’re planning on taking the guys from Three Dimensional Life out for a three day weekend camping initiation into manhood. Inviting them into the journey of living out their manhood the way it was intended to be exercised.
I’ll be living on campus at Three Dimensional Life. The internship will provide free housing and some food, but I’ll be fundraising to make up for other expenses. So I’ll be looking for monthly supporters. If you feel so inclined to be a part of what God’s doing in Gainesville, changing young men’s lives and empowering them to lead others, please contact me via email. [email protected]. You can also donate via Paypal to that email. Or Venmo as well. Thank you for considering being a part of what God’s doing in Georgia. It’s gonna be wild! It’s gonna be great! It’s gonna be full of Him!
